[Let it never be said the Elite Beat Agents can't throw a party.

After the 15 survivors of the Smash Life of Mutual Killing (as well as the antagonistic doctor and the original students) are interrogated and debriefed, offers are sent out from the agents. Offers to help them and to become operatives - to prevent anything along these lines from ever happening again.

As for the camp? The camp itself, as well as the Forsaken Fortress, have been cleared out by the Agents. The plan right now is to put The Announcer back in charge of the camp - but that still needs to be hashed out. Right now, there are more important things to be discussed. Like party time.

Did I mention that that the agents own a completely kicking mansion? It's huge, and reflects their own nature - serious, yet still musical and fun-loving. There's a full-time band and DJ blasting music around every corner of the establishment, these guys can rock better than any Future Foundation weirdos ever could. The music ranges from the 80s-iest rock you can imagine, to some more modern songs, to...the utterly bizarre. It's diverse, to say the least. But there are certainly some quiet areas you could slink away to if you just want to talk.

You'll be heading home soon, Smashers. Take it all in.]

(ooc: Welcome to the afterparty for Smash Ronpa! This post is open to all Nintendo characters and third parties who've appeared on a Nintendo system - your characters will either have been brought in specifically for the party or be EBA operatives working for them before/during the events of the round. Please reply to this post with any characters you'll be participating with.

[As soon as the execution happens, an uncomfortable silence hangs over the "courtroom". Is this really the end? Are we truly done here?

...It's not long before the group hears loud music taking place outside the room.

WEEK 5

[In a move that nobody could've seen coming, three students have died. Ashley Blair, Yomiel Schrodinger and Clair Tarasque have all been slain by traps worthy of Professor Ratigan himself., leaving a grim curtain of despair washed over the camp.

As usual, the campers have been left with a golden key to take them to the
next world. The Lethal Lava Land - don't burn yourself out there.

This is the final stretch, Smashers. The date is October 26th, and Halloween draws ever closer. But don't expect things to get easy from here. In fact, things are about to getway   crazier. ]

[ooc: Due to the close proximity of the endgame, we have decided to end the Weekly Check-In. However,  despite this, we still highly encourage you to stay active and ensure that your character has a constant presence.

This will be the last week characters will be able to investigate the camp. Due to this, the last world's area is rather sparse. We absolutely encourage you to hit up any previous worlds, if possible.]

[Three days have passed since the last appearance of our beloved counselor. Three days and if the pattern is any indication, there's going to be another murder.

The music has stopped, which is ominous enough. But the campers might not be immediately clueless this time around. It seemed to have snowed again on Thursday night, and there's a set of footprints leading up to World 3's secret base.

Shall we take a look?]

 WEEK 4

[Four weeks in, more and more students fall victim to Monobear's deadly game. Betrayus Spheros and Callie Kubodera have both passed on, and the pool of campers begins to thin out.

The camp has been mysteriously cleaned overnight, and the campers have been left with a golden key to take them to the
next world. The obligatory ice world:  less friction, more penguins.

On a special note, whenever a camper goes to visit Callie's grave today, they will find that it has been dug up. There is now a large hole where the SHSL Squdiol was once buried, and those who look around it will find no traces of squid nor kid.

Okay, Smashers. Rise and shine, and don't forget your booties cuz it's cooooooolllldddd   out there!]

Students remaining: 11

[ooc: Please don't forget to check in before the end of the week! You're still welcome to backtag and post in any of the previous logs and mingles as much as you like, don't feel that you should stop just because this log is up.

We're still encouraging exploration this week and if we missed anything last week or this week please ping one of our personal plurks so we can jump in. Please feel free to explore areas from previous weeks as well.]

[Callie Kubodera is dead. The SHSL Squidol is no longer a kid, and is a dead squid now. Any one of these 12 campers could be responsible.

Three podiums now stand empty. Two more portraits have joined Mac's. Pittoo and Callie gaze out at their classmates, depicted in monochrome coloring and splattered pink X's across their faces.

They'll have to comb through their collected evidence to find the truth. Will the culprit be found and executed? Or will the rest of the campers face a grisly fate?

12 students remain.]

[Let the class trial in the murder of Callie Kubodera...begin.]

 WEEK 3

[With the deaths of Mac Graziano and Pittoo Geminos, the students have been granted a golden opportunity in the form of...well, a golden key.  Using the key in combination with the giant padlocked door will unlock a strange new world for you to explore. Believe us, it's a lot more dreary than the first - especially with those giant walls still around. Especially now that they're comboed with giant pumpkin-shaped hills..

Despite the clean-up crew that has seemingly cleaned up any and all sign of conflict last week, there are mysterious holes that begin sprouting all over the camp starting Sunday night. You might want to look into those.

Welcome to week 3, Smashers. Don't let it get to you. You should probably just creep.]

[The moon has gone back into the sky and Mac Graziano, the Super High School Level Boxer, is the reason for it. The champ-to-be was found in front of the Theater by his classmates.

Once the announcement sounds, large green pipes appear in front of the students. Going down these pipes will place students in an empty but spacious courtroom. In the center is a circle of 15 wooden podiums. 14 stand empty. Standing at the 15th is a framed photo of Mac in the middle of a tremendous uppercut, with a pink X slashed across it.

There is a podium for each student with their names engraved on bronze-looking plaques on the front of each podium. On the inside, facing the stool where students have the option to sit, is a screen and keyboard. These will be used in voting for the assumed culprit.

What will their collected evidence tell them? Will the truth be revealed or will only one leaving the campground?

14 students remain.]

[Let the class trial in the murder of Mac Graziano...begin.]

[ooc: Welcome to the first trial, dearies! The podium chart is set up by room numbers. Please ping me on Plurk if something comes up that requires mod clarification!]

[This morning, it seems like the world should have ended, but if anyone wakes up early enough or just (quite understandably) couldn’t sleep… well… they’ll see four giant Monobears catching the falling moon and pushing it back up into the sky.

That sure is a thing that happened, but it seems to have happened before touching the ground. That’s a good thing, right?

...Unfortunately, there might be something a little wrong. For one, there’s no music playing on the loudspeakers… which kind of leaves an unsettling stillness hanging in the air.

Maybe it’s best to check around the camp to make sure everyone’s alright.]

WEEK 2

[Well, well, well! A week into the Smash Life of Mutual Killing and nobody's decided to shed blood yet. It's not exactly pleasant news for your friendly Coach, and believe me, he's not gonna like all this unbridled optimism going on. After everybody's met on Sunday and gathered as much information as they can, it's not like anything bad could happen, right?

Welcome to week 2, Smashers. We're going into Sudden Death.]

[Yes, finally here...

Sunday...

Now that the big day is here, Clair's doing her best to kick it into overdrive. Though she posted that the meeting time to start setting things up would be four thirty, it's currently 7:28 and she's already been there for almost a half hour prepping food and making sure they have enough tables and the like to put all the food on. After all, passing around a bag of marshmallows and hot dogs is kinda...lame. So there will be more of a selection for this time. Whether or not later meetings have this level of detail is up in the air, but first impressions are important.

As the clock starts to count down, Clair decides to take a break and makes her way to the mess hall from the kitchen. Hopefully there are some early birds to keep her company.]

WEEK 1

[With the Monobear debacle over with, the students are left to return to their rooms… and then adjust to their new lives in the mutual killing tournament. They have plenty of locations to explore… for now, anyway. How long until those places become too familiar, though?

...there are also some strange smiling blocks floating around the various locations. Maybe it’s a good place to start investigating...

But aside from that, well... Camp Life is just beginning for the 15 campers, and really, who knows when -- or if -- it will end?]

Students remaining: 15

[ooc: This is our last post for the week, and you’re all free to do as you please! There will be no murder this week, so get your FTE on and rack up some Monocoins to turn in for loot! On Friday, we’ll be posting a mini-AC post in the OOC comm, so please check into that when you get the chance!

We’re also encouraging investigation and exploration, as this game is full of secrets! Sometimes, our arms even bend back. Just give us a mod shout-out or contact us and we’ll help you get your investigation on!

On another note, nightly, the furniture in the camp will reset itself. Any furniture that was moved outside your cabin or outside any of the buildings around the camp will be found in it's original spot the next morning.]

[You want to know what kind of sleep you had? Quite frankly, it doesn't matter, not when it's interrupted by the sound of a cuckoo clock. When you're awake enough to look over and see what woke you up, you can see a small bear figurine popping in and out o- wait, what? It suddenly occurs to you that this isn't at all where you went to sleep last night.

But...it's nice enough. It's a wooden cabin, and seems to have been decorated with neat matching furniture. Your rather small bed is flanked by the cuckoo clock, and which for the life of you, you can't figure out how to shut off...which doesn't matter much when it stops a few moments later regardless. The time reads 7 AM, which might very well be far too early for your tastes.

When you actually start to look around a bit, you may or may not find one personal object on a nearby dresser, but more importantly, you might eventually notice is a small device somewhere on your person. If you can figure out how to work it, pressing the screen will reveal a profile containing information about yourself, and scrolling down reveals several different ones for strangers. It only serves to raise more and more questions - just what is is going on?

Suddenly, without warning, a screeching sound interrupts the last of whatever peace you might have had, and a voice blares out throughout the entire camp:]

Rise and shine, campers! Please make your way to the Mess Hall by 8 AM sharp!

[There's another screeching sound, and...music begins to play. It's not loud enough to drown out your speaking, but it's annoying, especially when you take into consideration that it doesn't stop playing. Ever. It just keeps repeating. Background music! It seems to be coming from the loudspeaker in the middle of the camp, and does generally get quieter the further you move from in. In addition, you'll find that the music seems to disappear entirely when you enter some buildings - such as the Theater and the previously-mentioned mess hall.

Speaking of which? When you finally exit your cabin, you'll find your feet meeting a cobblestone path - and down this path are more and more cabins. Going beyond the path, you'll find that nearly all the ground in the area is grassy, but luckily, there are a few dirt paths here and there to help you get to where you need to go. If you ignore the oddities, like the giant stone walls that surround the camp or the constantly-burning bonfire? It's almost kind of serene.

The sun is shining, and it's a lovely day for camping. It's time to mix and mingle.]

[ooc: Smash Ronpa is now open! This intro log will function as IC meet and greet. Use it to get to know your fellow classmates, ask questions, and check out your surroundings a bit. Your headmaster will be making his appearance shortly, upupupu~]
