SECOND TRIAL
[Callie Kubodera is dead. The SHSL Squidol is no longer a kid, and is a dead squid now. Any one of these 12 campers could be responsible.
Three podiums now stand empty. Two more portraits have joined Mac's. Pittoo and Callie gaze out at their classmates, depicted in monochrome coloring and splattered pink X's across their faces.
They'll have to comb through their collected evidence to find the truth. Will the culprit be found and executed? Or will the rest of the campers face a grisly fate?
12 students remain.]

[Let the class trial in the murder of Callie Kubodera...begin.]

Guess who's also available for hugs?
This soldier.
She's standing near her podium, munching...a celery stick, this time, in a manner very much speaking to her unhappiness.]

But he's not crying now. Instead, he fishes something out of his pocket and all but slams it onto the surface in front of him.]
In case anyone was wondering, I can cut off the question about whether or not the culprit picked Callie on purpose right here. I found this in her cabin.
[He moves his hand to reveal a piece of paper. If anyone moves to take it, they'll find it's a note.]
no subject
[Well, that definitely rules out the "this wasn't intentional" theory.]
Maybe we should compare the handwriting with everyone here? I mean, if the handwriting itself wasn't faked...

Coach Monobear. I have a question.

First, Callie got a note from a secret admirer who asked to meet near the entrance of the hiking trail. This is where it gets a little fuzzy. We don't know where the microphone with its cord comes in, but either the killer already had it on them or Callie took the person to the concert hall for an impromptu concert.
We don't know exactly where Callie was killed. There is a trail of blood going into the hiking trail, so it's possible she was stabbed either when she met the person or after the supposed concert.
Also, we don't know if she was stabbed while human or stabbed as a squid. It seems like she was still alive when wrapped in the coat, and she may have tried to escape to the lake. She was probably too wounded to go anywhere, though. The coat was wet so maybe the person in question had to go in and dive after her. Also it is of note that whoever it was that murdered her was wearing Betrayus' coat and gloves, possibly stolen from the laundry room.
Is there anything we're missing? Evidence that hasn't been brought up?

If you accept, I can guarantee each and every last one of you will make it out of here alive! And that includes the boxer and the winged boy!
[Betrayus looks... positively crazy. Everything from the look in his eye to the wide, sharp smile on his face. Yet he speaks to the group like a rallying of his soldiers.]
What, pray tell, did Monokuma offer to the successful culprit? A device that allows for the altering of reality however one wishes!
Remember how I said the little witch girl could use it to bring back our previous culprit?

You murdered Callie without hesitation, framed an innocent [she can't believe she just called Ashley "innocent"] child, and now you think we're just going to let you have your way? Let me think about this for a second...
[Incidentally, a second is literally all Betrayus will have before he finds the blue-haired woman rushing towards him. Clair reels her fist back as far as she can and punches him in the face with all her might.]

FINAL SMASH: KILL SCREEN
Betrayus Spheros has been found guilty.
COMMENCING FINAL SMASH
[A chain clamps around Betrayus’s neck, dragging him out of the courtroom and into… what appears to be an egg-shaped chamber, held by a rope over what appears to be a large maze. He’s plopped down unceremoniously, and the glass in front of the chamber snaps shut. The scene is set, and Betrayus lets out a small chuckle when he realizes what’s happening here. It’s a laugh that speaks of remembrance, and even strangely enough, some fondness.
It’s the scene of his first execution.
Presiding over the scene is a Monobear dressed up in a fancy little ensemble, which is enough to get Betrayus to sneer. Monobear puffs out his chest in an authoritative, presidential manner, as a lever comes up besides him. Without any sense of theatricality or hesitation, Monobear pulls the lever, and Betrayus convulses, his body violently and horrifically electrocuted.
Yet...he doesn’t stop laughing. In fact, the laughing actually picks up. It gets more maniacal, more frantic, more unhinged as he convulses. His visage behind the glass becomes more and more foggy, and it becomes harder and harder to see Betrayus at all, yet the laughing never fades.
It’s only made worse when large pixelated, multi-colored numbers begin to pop up from inside of the pod, completely hiding him from sight. Just then, President Monostratos pulls another lever - and a glowing pellet appears below the chamber.
Those who look down in the maze, or the conveniently-placed screens there just to televise it, will be able to see what’s going on here. A giant Monobear-head, almost Jaws-like in mannerisms, glides through the maze ominously. It bites in front of itself as it moves, and makes it’s way under Betrayus’s chamber.
With a death-defying leap, the head leaps into the air, eating the pellet - and the chamber begins to glow blue as siren-like sounds begin wailing. It smashes back down into the maze with a very loud thud. With another leap, the Monobear head makes it up to the chamber and devours it. Pink blood splatters across Monobear’s lips, and it’s only with that chomp that Betrayus’s cackle goes silent.
The giant Monobear head lands back in the maze. After a few seconds of anticipation, it looks upward and burps, the contents of that burp releasing a drool-covered golden key into the courtroom, as well as what appears to be two of Betrayus’s eyeballs, ripped neatly out of their sockets. The Monobear head seems to disappear unto itself, accompanied by a small nostalgic jingle and a booming voice...]
