[In a move that nobody could've seen coming, three students have died. Ashley Blair, Yomiel Schrodinger and Clair Tarasque have all been slain by traps worthy of Professor Ratigan himself., leaving a grim curtain of despair washed over the camp.

As usual, the campers have been left with a golden key to take them to the next world. The Lethal Lava Land - don't burn yourself out there.

This is the final stretch, Smashers. The date is October 26th, and Halloween draws ever closer. But don't expect things to get easy from here. In fact, things are about to getway   crazier. ]

[ooc: Due to the close proximity of the endgame, we have decided to end the Weekly Check-In. However,  despite this, we still highly encourage you to stay active and ensure that your character has a constant presence.

This will be the last week characters will be able to investigate the camp. Due to this, the last world's area is rather sparse. We absolutely encourage you to hit up any previous worlds, if possible.]

I've seen ghosts appear spontaneously before, but this...if they are ghosts, they're corrupted. Not that I've never seen that before, either. I would say it'd be just like Mundus or the Evil King, but Mundus is sealed up and the Evil King's soul was destroyed.

But whatever they are, they're nuisances and an insult to our friends.

I guess someone coulda destroyed the Dark Moon again, but since I haven't-a seen it here at all I think it's impossible to tell if that's the case...

Yeah, it's-a been hard to sleep lately because sometimes they would break into my cabin while I'm-a sleeping.

I wonder if we can find earplugs around here. Just curl up in blankets and ignore them until they decide it's not worth the effort to try to keep us awake.

Don't they throw things too though? I'm-a worried that if we just-a ignore them they would-a just resort to that.

I don't think they'll actually hurt us, the bear wants us to do that to each other. Just hope they don't get their hands on anything too gross to try to wake us up with.

[Luigi noticeably cringes at that thought.]

Y-yeah, me too.

... What do you think would happen if these guys ended up killing one of us, though? I'm-a sure Monobear wouldn't try executing them, would he?

Well, they're already dead, and they're animated under his power, so...I'd guess that would fall under the 'only Monobear can kill without consequences' rule. But he might make us go through a trial anyway in the hopes that we'd goof up and all get executed for voting wrong.

Do you think it's allowed for Monobear to kill someone if they haven't-a done anything to attack him, though?

Who knows. He's not actually a 'camper', so he might just try to claim the rules don't even apply to him.

Well I guess he is in this handbook, maybe in a way he is kinda like a student here?

[He might be trying to find a way to help out in the event that Monobear does in a roundabout way, kill a student, don't mind him.]

Maybe. And he's called our coach, which makes him faculty. That means he's still officially associated with this place and its rules.
