 WEEK 4

[Four weeks in, more and more students fall victim to Monobear's deadly game. Betrayus Spheros and Callie Kubodera have both passed on, and the pool of campers begins to thin out.

The camp has been mysteriously cleaned overnight, and the campers have been left with a golden key to take them to the next world. The obligatory ice world:  less friction, more penguins.

On a special note, whenever a camper goes to visit Callie's grave today, they will find that it has been dug up. There is now a large hole where the SHSL Squdiol was once buried, and those who look around it will find no traces of squid nor kid.

Okay, Smashers. Rise and shine, and don't forget your booties cuz it's cooooooolllldddd   out there!]

[Uh-oh Liz, you've startled the demon. He jumps, whirls around, and produces a sword from...somewhere to swing at her. Fortunately, the sword is made of foam fireballs.]

[Liz just takes a jump back just in time, having expected at least one person to react this way]

Oh my! Such strong reflexes!

...It's only me though.

A demon's gotta have good reflexes to live as long as I have.

[He lowers the sword, resting the tip on the ground...but being careful not to put too much weight on the foam blade.]

But you know, today's probably not the best time to be pulling pranks like that. If anyone has enough to hide that the motive is getting to them, now's when they'd be getting desperate.

Today...? Oh- I see.

My apologies. Time moves differently for me back home, and even though it's been a few weeks I'm still not used to this... I had not realized the timing...

Eh, nobody got hurt, so it's not a problem. Unless you've got an issue with having a foam sword swung at your head.

Oh, not at all. In fact, it got my heart racing...!

[there she goes sounding strangely delighted again]

Unfortunately even though I successfully dodged I feel my own reflexes have still become more on the rusty side lately since becoming trapped here.

Well...

[Oh no, he's grinning.]

This thing's not much of a weapon, but I'll bet it'd be pretty good for a bit of light practice.
