THE FIRST VICTIM

[This morning, it seems like the world should have ended, but if anyone wakes up early enough or just (quite understandably) couldn’t sleep… well… they’ll see four giant Monobears catching the falling moon and pushing it back up into the sky.

That sure is a thing that happened, but it seems to have happened before touching the ground. That’s a good thing, right?

...Unfortunately, there might be something a little wrong. For one, there’s no music playing on the loudspeakers… which kind of leaves an unsettling stillness hanging in the air.

Maybe it’s best to check around the camp to make sure everyone’s alright.]

[It absolutely smells like blood, though.]

[So it does. He frowns at the wound, then carefully uses his glove to sponge away some of the blood. He's checking to see if the wound itself has the same purple color. Is this really HIS blood? Or some sort of weird cover up?]

I'd give my left fingers for a medical examiner.

[It has the same color! Without a doubt, it's absolutely Mac's blood.]

[Is this guy not human? Well, whatever. Time to explore the outside perimeter of the theater, including any garbage cans. They were a common place to dispose of weapons]

[Well. There is something in one of the garbage cans, Shadow. But do you really wanna stick those oversized hands down there?]

[chaoscontrol]

[For justice? He'll do anything. But he also wouldn't want to disturb any evidence, even if he doesn't have any of the tools to look for fingerprints... It's just habit. So he dumps the trashcan over. He removes his other, still clean glove, and uses it to pick up the object. What could it be?]

[Mac's boxing gloves. Otherwise, the rest of the can appears to be fairly clean...outside of the garbage, of course.]

[What are these doing in the garbage? Shadow decides to take a look inside them. It's good to be thorough]

[There's nothing inside of them, and really, they look like they haven't been worn recently.]

[chaoscontrol]

[Odd. He's going to hold on to these.

He completes his perimeter sweep by climbing/jumping onto the roof. He uses it to get a bird's eye view of the scene, as well as look for any other clues he might have missed outside]

[Well, while he was getting up there, he might have noticed the strange amount of scuff marks on his way up on to the roof. Both on the wall and on the posters surrounding the perimeter of the theater.]

[So someone was either trying to get up, or get down. Someone without amazing jumping skills like his. Time to go into the theater proper. He brings out his emerald to use for light and looks at the floors]

[Nothing seems to be wrong with the inside of the building.]

[Hm... Then he's going to join the others, back outside ]
