FIRST TRIAL

[The moon has gone back into the sky and Mac Graziano, the Super High School Level Boxer, is the reason for it. The champ-to-be was found in front of the Theater by his classmates.

Once the announcement sounds, large green pipes appear in front of the students. Going down these pipes will place students in an empty but spacious courtroom. In the center is a circle of 15 wooden podiums. 14 stand empty. Standing at the 15th is a framed photo of Mac in the middle of a tremendous uppercut, with a pink X slashed across it.

There is a podium for each student with their names engraved on bronze-looking plaques on the front of each podium. On the inside, facing the stool where students have the option to sit, is a screen and keyboard. These will be used in voting for the assumed culprit.

What will their collected evidence tell them? Will the truth be revealed or will only one leaving the campground?

14 students remain.]

[Let the class trial in the murder of Mac Graziano...begin.]

[ooc: Welcome to the first trial, dearies! The podium chart is set up by room numbers. Please ping me on Plurk if something comes up that requires mod clarification!]

[Yes yes everyone's so shaken up oh no someone's been murdered it's so devastating blah blah blah-- Yeah no, Betrayus couldn't be less perturbed by all of this. He's probably still kind of in a bad mood due to someone killing Mac at all, since it cost him Stratos getting mooncrushed. The only reason he's even mildly interested is because he wants to see the killer get what's coming to them - not for the murder, but for... well, you get the picture.
Though right now he thinks he needs to say something just to keep from falling asleep.]

I have my doubts whether or not it's even relevant to the boxer's death, but the little green man and I did find two things in his cabin that might be out of the ordinary!

First is that his bed was a mess, while we also found a map in his drawer marked with a specific route. It didn't lead anywhere interesting, just in a circle, from his cabin, to the mess hall, then to the showers, the theater, the obstacle course, the arcade, the store, and then back to the cabin.

[Bets's memory has gotten a lot better since being corporeal again.]

So...he at least slept in his bed then.

And probably left his room with the intent of going back to bed, or at least coming back to his room. Maybe morning exercise routine? But why so early?

He told me he went on mornin' runs like Ah do, but...Ah don't think it was at the same time, an' he didn't tell me the route.

Early exercise gets the blood pumpin', gives ya a good way to wake-up.

Yeah, but isn't five a little...early to wake up? I know I tend more towards the evening hours than most people, but the mess hall isn't even open yet then!

Early morning is a perfect time to get up and start the day!

[Says the wife of the sheep farmer.]

Mac is- [urk] -was, a very dedicated athlete. It wouldn't surprise me if he got an early start to his exercises.

I suppose. That or he never bothered to make it.

[He's not the bed-making type either. That's what servants are for.]

That sounds like it could be the exercise routine he used.

If the killer knew this they'd know where he was. And if not... at the very least it explains why he was there.

They could have been lying in wait? How horrible.
