I've-a been wondering how long this guy's been dead. It doesn't look like he recently died.

Wait a minute! When I looked at the body, it smelled strongly of something weird. I don't-a know what it was, but it kinda smelled like chemicals.

Then it could've been preserved. I don't know much about it personally, but one of the guys that used to work under me kept preserved alchemy ingredients in jars of some kind of chemical. They lasted practically forever.

So that means that he mighta died before today...

[Luigi was already getting an idea of what might have happened, but he decides to keep his mouth shut. Partly because he doesn't have a full picture yet and partly he's afraid of what he had in mind.]
